Quarterly Project

Once a quarter, United Way of the Piedmont coordinates a simple collection project that gives individuals and groups an opportunity to get involved with their community.  Quarterly projects are designed to require little time or money but have a huge impact on the individuals who benefit.

Quarterly Project schedule:

 Formula, Bottles, Baby Food

Pacifiers, Cotton balls

Burp Cloths, Bibs Toys, Clothing

August – Tools for School

Collect various school supplies to provide support for kids returning to school.  These are distributed through local community centers and after school programs.

November – Stock that Pantry!
Help provide hundreds of hungry families in our community with food for the holidays by hosting a canned good drive.  Local food pantries distribute these goods to the needy in our community.

February – Bags of Love
Assemble small gift bags with candy, personal hygiene items, and a kind note to be distributed to Mobile Meals recipients on Valentine’s Day.
